8900 vs. Bold

As more people are using both the 8900 or the Bold BlackBerry the question comes up which is better? What are the differences between the Bold and the 8900? Well after reading this article I hope it will help you to understand the differences or make a decision on which device is for you.
The BlackBerry Bold is nice device more similar to a 8800 than any other blackberry with a better screen and feel than the 8800. It has a 2.0mp camera (the camera is okay compared to most 2mp camera phones out there). The 624mhz processor and 3g seems to make the 1400mah battery not last more than 10 hours with moderate or heavy use. I don’t know if battery life is different or better if the Bold is on a non 3g carrier like T-Mobile. The Bold has 1gb of internal storage memory and 40-59mb of RAM free at start-up depending on how many programs or themes you load on the device.
The 8900 or the Curve II is as the name implies it”s the upgraded version of the curve 8300. Wow! And what a upgrade! It has a better screen very crisp, the screen is even better than the Bold but smaller. The camera is 3.2mp with the auto focus and the processor speed is 512MHz. The 8900 camera gives you such great pictures the auto focus really gives the advantage over the Bold’s 2mp camera. The memory is running 120mb-160mb of RAM at start-up depending on programs and themes you pack on this one. There is no internal storage memory like it is on the Bold but hey memory cards can do the same as storage memory anyways.
Now the choice is yours, if you are more into taking pictures or want a compact device then the 8900 is for you if you need the wider keyboard and bigger screen then the Bold may be a better device for you.

This comparison stops right when it was about to get interesting. What about the speakers? Battery life on the 8900? Keyboard differences? UMA versus 3G? Screen size versus screen resolution? Overall performance?
Definitely a nice start though…
