The last week or so has been a very rough and trying time for many. The tragic destructive results of the earthquake in Haiti has left many worried, concerned and most of all prayerful. People are reaching out all over the world to help those suffering in Haiti and to hopefully bring a brighter day to their lives very soon. These are the times when we see more than anything the best in one another.
Marvin Sapp recently recorded a song called “He Saw the Best In Me,” he is singing about how God see’s the best in him when everyone else can only see the worst in him. We can always rely on God to see the best in us because he wants the best for us in our lives. Surround yourselves with people who can no matter what the circumstance or situation see the best in you, and if they can’t see the best in you right before their eyes then they’re looking for the best in you.
You never have to look or search hard to find the faults in yourself or someone else. It seems like our faults walk before us announcing us everywhere we go, so we definitely don’t need people in our lives to announce our faults; many of us are aware of them constantly.
If you feel like or are down and out, sick in your body, perplexed in your mind, unemployed, feeling hopeless, hurting, devastated for whatever reason and the list is endless. Endeavor to find some comfort in knowing that God can always see the best in you, surround yourselves with people who can see and encourage the best in you. See the best in yourselves, if you feel that you can’t find it readily available search for it, it’s there!
“He saw the best in me, when everyone else around could only see the worst in me.” That’s What I Said…
