I took the opportunity to visit Starbucks last week. I sat down and enjoyed my usual iced cold coffee drink. The seat was so comfortable and that’s probably why I stayed so long.
I met a couple of nice gentlemen who were there using their apple laptops. I watched a nice young man named Mike as he proudly set up his electronic devices at a table. Mike had the 32GB Ipad, Iphone 3Gs and a Apple Laptop. I got the feeling that Mike was definitely an Apple fan, of course I could be wrong!
I introduced myself to Mike and asked if I could take a picture of his Apple Products, he said yes. Mike stated that the Ipad was so useful to him that he really didn’t have a need for his laptop anymore. During our brief conversation I also learned that there is actually technology to jailbreak the Ipad. Mike did say that he found no need to jailbreak his Ipad because at it’s present state it more than fulfilled his needs. I informed Mike that I intended to share his pictures and a few lines about my Starbucks visit with my readers. Mike being the nice guy that he was had no problem with this whatsoever.
I have since visited Starbucks a couple of times. I find that I work pretty well there with my Netbook. I actually get more done there in the same amount of time than I would at home. So Starbucks will probably be my home office for at least a couple of hours or more Mon-Fri as long as my schedule permits. I am sitting in Starbucks typing this article on my Netbook enjoying the music, atmosphere and iced cold coffee drink.

I can completely understand the ipad craze, being a I-fiend myself I knew the ipad woud take off, It’s a bigger version of the iPhone, If I had not just purchased a laptop myself I probably would have gotten one , but only the 3g Version. Once you go Iphone you don’t go back, but I’m sure the crackberry,, oops I mean the blackberry believers feel the same way either way were all HOOKED!
