After doing some soul searching and research, I decided to leave Weight Watchers. I’m sure you’re wondering what made me come to that decision. A lot of things brought me to this point. I love Weight Watchers but at times I found the points system to be so frustrating. I think it would be easier for me to just track the calories without worrying about converting them to points.
Another reason is purely financial. Weight Watchers charges a monthly fee. I’ve joined a new site www.everydayhealth.com. It basically has the same type of information as Weight Watchers but it’s free. It also uses a calorie counter to track food, weight, and exercise. I’m quite excited about the change. I believe I can do this and keep on track with my weight loss goals.
I’ve also made another change. I switched my weigh in date from Fridays to Saturdays. I decided to do that in honor of my anniversary date. I’m starting a new phase. I’m more than halfway to my goal and I’ve started to think about where I am with my focus and weight loss goals.
I’m on medication to treat my stomach problems. Hopefully I will be noticing an improvement soon. Right now I’m taking things one day at a time. I’ve learned my limits and am definitely listening to my body.
I weighed in on Saturday and felt great. I lost a couple of pounds! I like the new site I’m using to track my calories and I feel excited about the change. I’ve been refocused in a way I haven’t been in a long time. I really feel good about it. I’m ready to kick fat’s big flabby butt! I’m on a mission and not stopping until I’ve made my goal!
