My EVO Journey has continued with much enjoyment. During the last couple of weeks using the EVO and exploring the world of android, I discovered that this phone can do so much and that I’m a power user. I would need to invest in another battery to carry around with me. I had a couple of options. I could buy another 1500mAh battery and change it when the original battery was drained. I could invest in a Mega Battery and not have to worry about changing batteries. I thought about the size of the Mega Battery and wondered if it would make the phone heavier and bulky. I decided to purchase the Mega Battery. I purchased a Seidio 3500mAh Extended Battery for my EVO.
The Seidio 3500mAh Extended Battery does add some size to the phone (like stacking another EVO on top of it) but it makes the phone easier to hold. I like how the battery cover is designed, it keeps the camera lens from touching the surface when the phone is put down. The kickstand on the EVO is not affected by the extended battery cover. That is a plus because I am starting to look at some shows and you tube clips with the EVO. I got the extended battery a few days ago and with heavy usage (Twitter, Email, internet, listening to Podcasts and checking Facebook) I am doing about 14 hours so far. Now I don’t have to carry a charger everywhere I go.
