Recovering Memory from Apps on Android

My EVO Journey continues with learning ways to keep my Android running smooth and fast. Have you been on your android phone and received an alert stating that you’re running low on memory? But you have not added any new apps in awhile? Well this is a way to recover some memory without deleting apps. Here’s how you can do it.

Recovering Memory from Apps on Android

First go to settings then applications

Then manage applications

You will see the apps you have installed on your android.

Tap on your menu button and you will see sort by size.

Enter a app and you will see the clear cache option.

You can clear the cache from here and you will recover the memory from the running app.

I do this once a week or whenever the android starts to run slow. When I did this today I recovered approximately 10mb.
