Tales of a Plus Sized Heels Addict – A Change of Heart?

After buying those cute pair of heels from DSW I began to feel a change of heart. I knew the shoes were cute but I really needed a pair of walking shoes to wear. So I had a bit of a dilemma. Do I exchange my cute new heels for a pair of walking shoes or just go buy the walking shoes and keep the heels?

I struggled a bit but I made my decision. I decided to exchange the heels for a pair of walking shoes. I was hoping there were some options available in clearance. Happily there were several options available in my size. I went through each pair of shoes and decided on a really cute white and purple pair of Nikes. I’ve worn them a couple of time and found them to be quite comfortable I even found them in a size 8 1/2 that actually fit me.

I do have to admit I was quite tempted by several pairs of sexy heels. They were so cute that I almost tried on a couple of pair of them. I did resist them and bought my Nikes. I absolutely love them and do not regret my decision at all to exchange the heels.

Sometimes you have to be practical. That’s what I’ve started learning when it comes to shopping for shoes. Even though I love my heels, I still need other types of shoes as well. Now that fall is approaching I’m sure I’ll be picking up a couple of pairs of heels in the near future. Stay tuned folks…

I've been on my weight loss journey since 2007. I was facing several medical conditions and seeing several specialists. The doctors told me to lose weight or face some very serious consequences. I decided to start losing weight. I've had many ups and downs on this journey. I've had two surgeries and several outpatient surgical procedures. I'm no weight loss expert but an average person. I've done lots of research and experimenting and found what works for me.
