I was feeling a bit stressed and realized I had a $50 rewards certificate left to redeem from DSW. I decided to head there for lunch. DSW relaxes me so much. When I walked in the door I instantly felt relaxed. The music sounds so soothing to me. I felt so at peace that the stress melted away.
I started looking down the heels aisles to check out the new shoes. I noticed the fall collection had come in and the summer shoes were on clearance. Lots of boots were on display. I was looking for a cute sensible pair of heels. Wait a minute; did that actually exist? Here’s the reality of the situation. I want a great pair of heels that don’t kill my feet.
It was a hard search but I did find a pair of heels. I searched all of the heels aisles with absolutely no luck. All of the cute shoes looked so horribly uncomfortable. I walked the aisles twice. I ended up going to the clearance section. I found several choices and wasn’t sure which one to try on first. I decided to try on a very sexy pair of shoes. Unfortunately for me I got a foot cramp as soon as I tried on the shoe. They were definitely shoes that you wore to sit and look pretty. That’s not what I was looking to buy that day.
I found the shoes by accident in the clearance section. I looked over them twice. When I tried on these shoes they were so very comfortable. I couldn’t believe my luck. The shoes were 30% off. Clearance so rocks! I snapped up those shoes. I realized I still had some money left from the $50 certificate. Time for accessories! I went and bought some foot cushions to help protect my feet I also bought a cute and sturdy umbrella that was much needed.
I paid for my purchases and headed back to work. I felt so much better on my way back. I’d made a very smart purchase. A DSW rewards certificate and clearance deals: what a winning combination!
