I’m currently experiencing some health problems. They’ve affected how I’m able to exercise. I can’t let myself get down about. One thing I have to be is flexible. Flexibility is very important in your weight loss battle. There will be times when things happen in life and you have to be able to go with the flow.
I adjust my workout schedule according to how I’m feeling each day. This does affect my weight loss but it doesn’t end it by any means. The key is to keep going and not give up because things aren’t going well. I’m taking one day at a time until I’m back to my old self. Does it get frustrating? Absolutely! Just pick yourself up and keep going. Know your limits and don’t overdo it.
There are days when I don’t eat healthy. I get upset with myself but I move on. I forgive myself for the slip and keep going. I don’t allow it to consume me. Right now I’m in a semi-plateau. I’m not allowing it to consume me. Once again taking one day at a time helps a lot. Knowing that I’m an emotional eater also helps me in the battle. I need to plan my meals for the day the night before.
Don’t beat yourself up when it comes to setbacks. Forgive yourself! Enjoy your weight loss battle! I’ve found fun in my exercise and I love walking every day. I find it to be very rewarding. I’ve also found some great foods that are low-fat and very tasty. Have a great time with it! Don’t make it a chore to lose weight. You’ll feel a lot more positive and it will improve your weight loss in the long run.
