My EVO Journey continues with making my EVO Internet Browsing experience even better! One of the biggest pieces of news during the last 2 weeks has been the release of the Firefox Browser Beta for the Android devices.
You can check it out at http://FireFox.com/m/beta. I like the way the Browser has add-ons just like the Firefox PC Browser and it has a way to get bookmarks from your PC running Firefox. It features the pinch to zoom and has the personalized start page like the PC Browser.
A very nice start for the beta for Firefox but it is still slower than the Browser that came with the phone. It is a very large app (around 40mb). I do hope the Firefox Team will fix the way the page is formatted on the screen. If you look at the screenshots below you can see the text is very small. Even when you pinch to zoom it still does not zoom so that it fits into the page. I’m hoping that there will be more updates before the final product release.
