When I first started my weight loss journey, shopping for me was a nightmare. I hated the way clothes fit me. I couldn’t find the clothes I liked in my size. I simply dreaded shopping. As I started to lose weight and inches I would wait until the clothes were simply too big to wear anymore before I would go shopping.
My whole attitude went through a complete adjustment. I started to realize that shopping can be fun. I embraced my body and realized it is beautiful. Shopping allowed me to find the outfits that could emphasize its beauty. Shopping is a mental game more than anything. You can go into it feeling positive or being completely negative.
I choose to be very positive now. I look for colors that complement me and usually have someone with me for feedback. I feel like a model and show off my curves. Sometimes you just have to work what you have. Enjoy your success and think of shopping as a reward. It will make a big difference.
